Yoga Therapy and SOUL Food Retreat

Description

Spend the weekend eating moving and resting well in Eureka Springs AR. This retreat will integrate therapeutic yoga assessment, self-care techniques, and beautiful food for a relaxing, informational, and re-energizing weekend. Our chef will walk and talk us through each meal over the weekend along with a special 2 hour cooking class on Saturday. Dava will put special emphasis on healing the gut through proper food combining and will teach you how to play with Ayurvedic spices in each of her meals during the retreat.

Itinerary overview:

Arrive Friday evening to a beautiful gathering to delicious and grounding o'dourves and an initial Yoga Therapy Assessment. This is the time to share your goals and concerns with Yoga Therapist Jayme Sweere. She will use this meeting as well as gathering more information over the course of the weekend allowing her to make an individualized practice prescription for each participant at the end of the weekend. 

Saturday will be filled with practice, S.O.U.L.(seasonal, organic, unprocessed, local) food and education. Beginning with a morning yoga class and meditation session, followed by a developmental movement screen and myofascial release session, A mid-day cooking class and lunch with Chef Deva Parr will lead us into an educational afternoon of how to create and sustain a supportive yoga practice. An afternoon practice to re-energize with deep breathing and relaxation techniques will lead us into a beautiful dinner for a fun and relaxing evening. 

Sunday will begin with practice and meditation followed by a breakfast and individual meetings for practice recommendations with Jayme. We will end after lunch on Sunday. You will leave with an individualized daily yoga routine and resources for continued education based on your goals and needs. 

Includes chef’s special meals, morning and evening practices, cooking class, self-care educational session, individualized assessment and practice prescription. Massage available by appointment during downtime.
