              BIOS:
Samantha Jones is associate editor and special publications editor for Carroll County Newspapers. She began working in Eureka Springs in 2014 as a reporter after graduating from Lyon College with a degree in English and journalism earlier that year. Today, she runs Lovely County Citizen, Eureka Springs Visitor, Currents Magazine and other special publications in Carroll County. She is passionate about telling stories that matter, supporting nonprofits that work tirelessly to improve the world and using social media in a meaningful way. She loves Eureka Springs and the community she has found here. Her primary goal is to promote the city she loves in a way that benefits everyone.

Ozarks native Clover Kesson is a graphic and web designer who works with small newspaper companies to develop niche products in digital and print formats. She specializes in online branding campaigns for advertising clients and holds certification with Google Ads with years of search campaign experience. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in News/Editorial Journalism from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville. Her passion for small-town journalism has led her to years of successful collaboration with a variety of newspaper groups and chambers of commerce to create and rebrand meaningful products with regional identity. She believes small town publications hold the keys to local and regional marketing success.

Carroll County Newspapers publisher Bob Moore started his newspaper career in ad sales for the Star Progress and Eureka Springs Times Echo in 1978. He left the area in 1994 to run the Camden News, a five-day daily newspaper owned by Walter Hussman. After three years in Camden, he transferred to Little Rock working for the Palmer Newspaper group. A year later, he was asked to become publisher at the Searcy Daily Citizen. After nearly three years in Searcy, he had the opportunity to return to Carroll County Newspapers. So in 2000, he started to work for Rust Communications who had purchased the newspaper in 1998. He became president of the Arkansas Press Association in 2013 after serving on the board for 16 years. He is excited to embrace the age of digital media.

A special thank you to the Eureka Springs Community Center for hosting these entrepreneur development trainings.
