Celebrating 25 Years of Literary Magic in Eureka Springs

The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow (WCDH) is thrilled to announce its first annual fundraising gala, Bookmarked: A Jazz Age Jubilee, taking place on Sunday, August 3, 2025, in celebration of 25 years of nurturing writers and literary arts in the heart of the Ozarks.

This unforgettable evening will transport guests back to the roaring 1920s with live jazz, vintage flair, and a spirited celebration of the written word. Guests will enjoy 1920’s era drinks, hors d’oeuvres, dancing, a silent auction, and a vibrant Author’s Row—featuring local and regional writers signing and selling their books.

“Bookmarked: A Jazz Age Jubilee is more than a party—it’s a tribute to the writers, residents, supporters, and community members who have helped shape WCDH into the creative sanctuary it is today,” said Marketing Consultant, Hilka irvin. “We’re celebrating a quarter-century of storytelling, reflection, and artistic courage.”

Highlights of the evening include:

• Dinner & Drinks Inspired by the 1920s
• Silent Auction – Featuring art, experiences, and literary treasures

Costume Encouraged – Jazz Age attire welcomed, but not required

All proceeds from the event will support the Writers’ Colony’s programs, scholarships, and ongoing mission to provide writers of all genres and backgrounds with a supportive environment to
work, reflect, and grow.
